The Puma's men's basketball team won the regional championship tonight over Quincy in triple overtime, 104 to 103. They had won each of the two prior games in the tournament by 2 points. (I was especially happy to see them beat Grand Valley State, a school that is about twenty times their size.) They are now in the final eight of the division 2 NCAA basketball tournament.
By the way, they were seeded eighth of eight teams in the tournament.
