Quick art shows

There are two art shows currently in Rensselaer. The Fendig Gallery is showing the Jasper County Art League's 10th annual Juried Competition and Exhibition Photograph 2012 until Dec 28. Twenty four photographers entered from one to three pictures each. There are a lot of nature shots but not a lot of people pictures.

 On display in the Core Building at Saint Joseph's College until December 10 are student works from the past semester. A few caught my attention. The student who did the drawing above did the mosaic below, but for a different class.
