Fading storm
Last night the radar showed a thin line of heavy rain to our north and loud thunder announced its approach. However, the storm faded away as it reached us and we got only a trace of rain. As the dark clouds passed overhead, a gap in the clouds showed a bit of blue sky with the setting sun shining on a spire of cloud. I ran inside, got my camera, and took the picture below.

Nice try. I often attempt to capture the colorful wonders of our Arizona sunrises and sunsets, but I can never properly reproduce the beauty of the real thing.
