Improvements

It appears that the Oddfellows Building downtown is getting a facelift. The building changed ownership a few months ago.

 Here is what the building once looked like.

Some city streets are being milled as the first step in repaving. This picture was taken on Angelica. Tomorrow there will be a rummage sale in the basement of St. Augustine's Church. It will be interesting to see how the milling affects parking for the shoppers.

Any post with a title of Improvements would not be complete without a picture of a lawn ornament that I noticed on Home Avenue this week.  Or is it a Halloween decoration?
