There are other corners I worry about and some I think about. Those worrying me are Five Points, Kannal and College Ave., McKinley and Washington, Angelica and McKinley. Those are a few that come to mind. I felt that way about the CVS corner, but CVS did help. Next, I will have to think about those corners that should be celebrated because of their use and appearances.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998936422915177299.post-53499615573635444382009-02-03T00:57:00.000-06:002009-02-03T00:57:00.000-06:00hooks, or osco? the more i think about it, the mor...hooks, or osco? the more i think about it, the more i suspect i'm remembering an osco drug store, which was by the old A&P in the '70s.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998936422915177299.post-27287755790325421562009-02-03T00:38:00.000-06:002009-02-03T00:38:00.000-06:00morton is on the map these days because it has a t...morton is on the map these days because it has a tribal casino that advertised a bit to the twin cities. i have been to it once.

i have been to little falls once or twice, too, for religious purposes. there's some military base or something like that in little falls, that's its primary claim to fame.

i remember dog n' suds distinctly, although i'm not sure we ever went there. i seem to recall there was a bowling alley near it, and a schultz's store near the bowling alley.

i think i remember the hook's store, and i do remember seeing one of those tube testing machines in it in the 70s.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-998936422915177299.post-20256010254209749772009-02-02T19:24:00.000-06:002009-02-02T19:24:00.000-06:00I cannot take credit for the holiday classificatio...I cannot take credit for the holiday classification. I think the only reason I remember it was when I would go with mom grocery shopping and we'd sometimes go to two grocery stores. This was before the Pick 'N Save moved into town near St. Joes.

The name of the other restaurant escapes me at the moment, but it was owned by some guy who had a couple more of those restaurants in neighboring towns. I think there was one in Wolcott? It was some sort of Family Diner type place.flatbowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12682414608061309934noreply@blogger.com
