On Tuesday night (Aug 4) Brookside Park was busy with National Night Out, which was started a few years ago as Cookout with Cops (a name I like a lot better.) There were a number of displays--the National Guard, the fire department, various police groups, and others, plus a free hot dog and free entry to the pool, but the highlight of the evening was the arrival of the medical evacuation helicopter. Below is what it looked like.
