Chili Cookoff
On Saturday night we attended the Second Annual St. Augustine School Chili Cookoff held at the Knights of Columbus hall. The idea was that parents of the St. Augustine School kids brought in their chili, people then sampled them, rated them, and prizes were awarded to the best chilies.
I enjoyed the chili but was too lazy to take the time to rate them. We left before the talent show and before the raffle for the Payton-Manning-signed football.
It was a fun and clever fund-raiser. We left early because we had another event to attend.

How was the chili? Yes, this is a terrific idea, and I hope it was well attended.
