Going to church in Mt Ayr with the Methodists

(I thought it would be interesting to use Sundays to focus on Rensselaer's churches and to see how many Sundays I can go before I run out of material. Indiana is richly endowed with religious denominations, with influences from North and South, East and West. This is part of that series of posts.)

The Mount Ayr United Methodist Church is located at about 8 miles west of Rensselaer in Mt Ayr at 104 N 3rd St. According to the "Church Services Directory" in the Rensselaer Republican, the pastor is Dennis Morros. Sunday Services are at 9:30 a.m.
As the name implies, it is part of the United Methodist Church, which is also the denomination of Trinity United Methodist Church in Rensselaer. The Mt. Ayr church does not have a website that I could find.
