Rensselaer's biggest fountain

I thought of the Rensselaer Republican's weekly contest that asks readers to identify various landmarks around Rensselaer as I was admiring Rensselaer's largest fountain this morning. I wondered how many of the readers of this blog know where Rensselaer's largest fountain is located. Here is one hint: I have not previously mentioned it on this blog.

What the heck. I will give you a big hint; I will show you a picture.
Where is it located? Answer in the comments.

  3. My guess is Sunset Ridge. I recognize the tree line being near the back edge of Camp Kanne.

  4. reMark is correct. I noticed a plume of water there last Saturday and thought it might be a water line break, but was in a hurry so could not check it out. I also was in a hurry on Monday when I noticed it again and wondered why they had not fixed it. On Tuesday I was running a bit late, but decided I had to check it out. I had not previously noticed that there was a little pond at the back of the subdivision. When nice grass grows in, it will be a very pretty place. Right now there is only one occupied house in the subdivision, so it is like a private fountain.
