Cruise day

We had Cruise Night last Saturday, but we have had "Cruise Days" quite often this summer. A "Cruise Day" is when construction on I-65 causes traffic, especially the trucks, to divert through Rensselaer. They would do OK if the stop lights did not cause major traffic backups. Below you can see the trucks backed up past the entrance at Saint Joseph's College

Here is the same traffic jam a bit further north. It isn't until they turn onto SR 114 that they traffic flows again.

I have not been out I-65 way lately--what are they doing out there and how is the construction going?
