On Friday evening the Columbian Players of Saint Joseph's College presented Anything Goes, a musical with music by Cole Porter. It has a number of well-known songs, including "Anything Goes" and "I Get A Kick out of You."
Below is a picture of one of the numbers that did not have the major characters. (It was in better focus of most of the other pictures I took.)
This is the third time in the last 30 or 35 years that this play has been the spring musical at SJC. It has also been done by the high school theater group. I recall that my daughter was in it when she was in high school, which was probably before these students were born. I do not remember what role she had, but it was a minor one.
A couple of students from Rensselaer have roles, one the lead. The third and last production will be Saturday night.
It was quite a shock to come out of the theater and find the ground covered with snow and the windshields of the cars with ice and snow. Let us hope that this will be the last really cold night.
