Blooming basswood
I thought that I was done with the blooming trees, but early this week I smelled the pleasant odor of blooming basswood trees. I even got a picture with a bee.
There are basswood trees on the court house lawn, and another by the Jasper County Public Library. They are easy to spot now that they are blooming. (Another name for this tree is the linden tree.)
