Swimming soon

I snapped this picture on Tuesday morning. One of the park employees was pressure washing the pool steps, which means that pretty soon the La Rue pool in Brookside park will be open.

Today the Rensselaer Republican reported that opening day will be June 11. The paper also had a really good picture of the cleaning of the pool--maybe the new reporter has a eye for interesting pictures.
