Shopping for strawberries
Traveling along College on Tuesday afternoon, I saw a seasonal sign announcing strawberries for sale.
A white van in the parking lot across from Monnett School had unloaded several dozen ice-cream buckets full of fresh strawberries. I asked where she was from, and she said, Hobart." She will be selling strawberries on Tuesdays and Thursdays as long as strawberry seasons lasts.
Are there any strawberries at the Saturday Farmers' Market yet?
Update: A bucket cost $10. Also, I saw Gilmore's Green Acres selling strawberries on Monday by Jordan's Floral. I do not know their days and hours, but maybe I will find them next week.
