The fall ladybug invasion has begun. The picture below shows a westward facing door of the Core Building at Saint Joseph's College. The students flinched as they passed through the swarms of the bugs.
This species of ladybug is a fairly recent introduction to Indiana. As the fields are harvested, the numbers on this door should grow.
I just can't believe the lady bugs! They seem worse than in past years!
ReplyDeleteLast year we didn't have them like this that I remember. This might mean that we will have them in our house all winter!!
ReplyDeleteGot my first ladybug bite of the season yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThey stink too.
