Some more harvest pictures
Along Bunkum Road on Tuesday, two combines were harvesting soybeans.
Farmers were taking advantage of the dry day to get their work done.
Below a picture shows a combine harvesting corn west of Rensselaer, with the two elevators of Rensselaer in the background.
There is now a steady stream of trucks at the elevator. Here one is on the scales, and another is being loaded with grain. I initially thought it was delivering grain and did not notice until I got closer that it taking on a load of grain. They know what they are doing. I do not.
