Build it, but will they come?

Advanced Auto Part issued a press release back in 2007:
REMINGTON, Ind. February 12, 2007 – Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE: AAP), a leading automotive aftermarket retailer of parts, batteries, accessories and maintenance items, today announced plans to operate a new distribution facility in Remington, Indiana.
....
Advance anticipates creating over 600 new jobs to support the facility’s operations at full capacity. These new positions will include drivers, dispatchers, material handlers, supervisors, and managers, who Advance will actively recruit from the town of Remington and surrounding areas.
The distribution facility has been built, but currently it only employs watchmen. When you pass over the railroad tracks near the US 24 intersection, you can see it in all its magnificence. It still may open, but not until the economy improves.
In the foreground is the Caboose Lake Campground, which always seem to have lots of RVs. I would not expect that a site so close to the Interstate would be so attractive, but it is.
