Plein aire
From now until Sept 24, the Fendig Gallery in the Carnegie Center has an exhibit called Plein Aire Exhibition. (I think that is supposed to be French.) Works of a dozen artists are on display, including several by Judy Kanne. This watercolor shows a detail of the court house.
Mary Ann Van Soest has several paintings that are traditional landscapes, including this one titled, "County Line."
My neighbor Marcia Johnston has three, including this one titled "Peggy's Cove."
It is a nice show that you will enjoy if you like pictures painted outside, or at least of the outside.

Thank you for seeing and sharing the Plein Aire Exhibit. Some of the paintings there were painted on the opening day of the exhibit around and about Rensselaer. Those paintings are remarkable, too.
