Invasion of the ladybugs
The fall ladybug invasion has begun. The picture below shows a westward facing door of the Core Building at Saint Joseph's College. The students flinched as they passed through the swarms of the bugs.
This species of ladybug is a fairly recent introduction to Indiana. As the fields are harvested, the numbers on this door should grow.

I just can't believe the lady bugs! They seem worse than in past years!
Last year we didn't have them like this that I remember. This might mean that we will have them in our house all winter!!
Got my first ladybug bite of the season yesterday.
They stink too.
Pesky pests.
Asian Lady Beetles actually.
