The big Christmas duck was there to greet (or terrify) youngsters. (Whose mascot is the duck? I probably should know that.)
The radio station was there, as was a Santa posing for pictures with people and listening to non-negotiable demands from children. The Youth Center on Sparling had a table where kids could draw and do other crafty things. I looked for the post office table, but did not see it. Hazeldon Golf Course had a putting green that the kids enjoyed.
They had advertised cookies and made good on the promise.
There was a stage for performances and some people waiting for something to happen, but nothing happened while I was there. Some choral groups from the high school were on the program. My apologies to all the other people who were there and whom I ignored.
Update: Lots of pictures here.
