An old cross
On August 28 St. Augustine School had a ceremony and celebration for the re-dedication of the cross shown in the picture below.
The wooden cross decorated the front gable of the first St. Augustine School building from 1903 until it was torn down in 1954. The person in charge of tearing down the old building, Tony Nagel, saved the old cross, and recently decided to donate it to the school.
