The Heritage Bible Church was established in 2003. The building once served a different denomination, as the corner stone reveals: Presbyterian Church Organized 1865. Rebuilt 1913 The Jasper County Interim Report classifies this building as "outstanding," one of only three for all of Remington. (The other two are the old water tower and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.) It is built in the neoclassical style, which seems to have been undergoing a revival at the time. (The Carneigie Library in Rensselaer built in 1905 is another example of the style.)
